Part of the St. Augustine Historical Society Museums and Historic Gardens Complex, the Llambias House received National Historic Landmark status in 1970. Built sometime before 1763, the Llambias House serves as a stark reminder of First Period Spanish architecture in St. Augustine that evolved as the British, Spanish (again), and Americans occupied the home.
After two devastating hurricanes in recent years, the St. Augustine Historical Society is renovating this lovely piece of landscaping history. Come watch as we turn these the Llambias House courtyard back into the glorious gardens they once were.
