Trinity Parish is the oldest protestant congregation in Florida. Birthed in the midst of a devastating yellow fever epidemic, Father Andrew Fowler came down from Charleston, SC, with two purposes in mind: minister to the sick and dying of St. Augustine and bring the Episcopal faith to Florida. Fowler remained only two months, but his ministry has continued for just over 200 years.
